I'm currently finishing up the remainder of my Master's thesis, and have had a lot of down time... Thus, a plethora of knitting has occurred!
First and fore-most I had to finish a pair of legwarmers for my sister...she felted the first pair in the washing machine.
Next on the list is a hat for my grandmother. It's kinda funny that she picked out the "hip" snowboarding hat pattern, but I do love how it came out. I had already planned to make one for my fiance, so his will be next.
I also started (and finished) knitting the big dog yarn project that I spun before Christmas. I found a picture of the Three Sisters Mountains in Oregon, converted it to a faire-isle knitting pattern using graph paper, and then knit it up. The gauge didn't quite come out right, but luckily it doesn't matter. I absolutely love how it turned out, and can't wait to see it blocked. I also need to find a custom picture frame/shadow box to display it.
And last but not least...a second pair of legwarmers for my sister! I just started these a few days ago, and they are slow going, so they should last me at least until I go home at the end of January. Then I have lots more fiber-y goodness planned for my little vacation at home...mostly prepping and making things to sell in my Etsy store. If you have any suggestions on items that you would like to see in my store, just let me know! I'll even give discounts for everyone who gives suggestions!
Autumn Hill Llamas & Fiber is a small llama farm in upstate New York that raises quality llamas with straight conformation, suri-type fiber, and sweet personalities. Raw fiber, roving, yarn, and fiber items for sale. Farm visits are always welcomed.

Winter Wonderland
Things have FINALLY calmed down (and I am once again in possession of a camera cord to download pics!), so here's a new post!
I have lots of new pictures, but I think for today I'll focus on the snow! The day after Christmas we got about 8" of snow at home in Indiana, and of course the dogs had a blast playing in it. We took several walks around the pond and pastures, letting the dogs run and play. It's really nice having most of our property fenced...now the dogs can run in the areas where there aren't llamas. Luckily no one decided to take a swim in the pond.
And of course I had to take pictures of the llamas in the snow. They weren't quite as amused as the dogs, but I did see Ralph and T eating snow off the fence on several occasions!
I've been knitting and spinning up a storm recently, but I'm not quite done with my favorite project, so I'll make a new post about that all when I'm done!

Kaya was almost too short to play in the snow. |

Ralph peeking out from behind Kara. She's now bigger than he is! |
The humidity gave T the most gorgeous curls! |
A Ralph sandwich...Bluff's in the back and Kara's in front. |
Another view of the Ralph sandwich. See how big Kara is! |
Strange looks from both Bluff and Kara, but look at those ears! |
